Keith Whitaker

Since 2010 Keith has served as President of Wise Counsel Research Associates, which consults to select families with significant wealth around governance, leadership succession, and the well-being of rising generations.  Keith is the co-author of the following books:

Before founding Wise Counsel Research, Keith served as a Managing Director at Wells Fargo Family Wealth, an adjunct professor of management at Vanderbilt University, and an adjunct assistant professor of philosophy at Boston College. Keith holds a Ph.D. in Social Thought from the University of Chicago, a BA and MA in Classics and Philosophy from Boston University and is a graduate of the ABA’s National Trust School.

Keith is the former board chairman of the National Association of Scholars. He splits his time between New England and Nevada, where he enjoys downhill skiing and golf.
